- PACE
- Talentos’s method, built on Priorities, Accountability, Conditions and Evidence, assessed through six conditions.
- Performance Picture
- A ten-working-day assessment of how a business manages performance.
- Quick Picture
- A free, three-minute self-check for founders, owners and CEOs.
- PACE Check
- A follow-up assessment using the same conditions and baseline measures at months 6, 12 and 24.
- Written expectations
- The results and responsibilities of a role, and how they will be assessed, explained before review.
- Check-in
- A short conversation about progress, obstacles and next actions.
- Blocker
- Something preventing delivery. PACE gives each blocker an owner and a date for action.
- Improvement plan
- A plan setting out the required improvement, support, timescale and review points.
- Appraisal
- A formal review of performance over an agreed period.
- Role scorecard
- A concise record of a role’s expected results and measures.
- Baseline
- The starting measures used to assess later change.
